Dr. Reza Milano is a gastroenterologist at Mount Sinai Medical Center.

Dr. Milano graduated summa cum laude in Medicine (MD) from Libera Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele in Milan, Italy. He completed his internal medicine residency training at Yale New Haven Health Bridgeport Hospital/Yale University Program in Bridgeport, CT. Additionally, Dr. Milano earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) at the University of Edinburgh in the UK with a focus on epidemiology and healthcare economics. He then completed a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Jackson Health System/University of Miami Hospitals in Miami, FL.

Dr. Milano is committed to providing exceptional patient-centric care, working to diagnose, treat, and prevent various medical conditions relating to the digestive system. He also integrates the latest technology and techniques into his practice, assuring effective care and long-term health. Dr. Milano has contributed to peer-reviewed research and publications on a variety of medical topics, focusing on endoscopic resection techniques for the treatment of early gastrointestinal tumors, such as colorectal and esophageal tumors. He has also written a textbook chapter on autoimmune pancreatitis and contributed to peer-reviewed work on pancreatic conditions while completing his fellowship, including pancreatitis in cystic fibrosis and pancreatic cysts.

Dr. Milano is board-certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

He is fluent in English, Italian, and Persian (Farsi).
