Dr. Robert Galbut is a board certified pulmonologist, internal medicine, and critical care physician at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
Born and raised in Miami Beach, Dr. Galbut graduated with high honors from high school and Yeshiva University before earning his medical degree at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx in New York City. He then completed a fellowship and residency at Bronx Municipal Hospital where he served as Co-Chief Resident of the pulmonary division. Dr. Galbut then returned to Miami Beach where he has been practicing pulmonary and critical care medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center for over 40 years.
Dr. Galbut is committed to providing up to date caring , dedicated and personalized patient care, with an emphasis on interactive sensitive patient decision making, quality of life and sanctity of living.
Dr. Galbut is a Fellow of the College of Chest Physicians and a member of the American Medical Association. He is fluent in Spanish and in Hebrew.
