    Over the past few years, Dr. Manzano created a Diabetes and Technology Unit in his practice, providing state of the art care for diabetic patients requiring the use of insulin pumps and continuous glucose sensors (CGM); allowing diabetics to have access to their care and be remotely monitored from any location. Other areas including: adrenal and pituitary tumors and thyroid eye disease (TED) are conditions that Dr. Manzano provides care for.

    Dr. Manzano earned his medical degree from Universidad Catolica de Santiago de Guayaquil, Ecuador and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital/Saint Raphael Campus in New Haven, Ct. He went on to serve as Chief Resident for the internal medicine training program at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine regional campus in West Palm Beach, Fl., where he received the American College of Physician Chief Resident Award.

    Dr. Manzano then completed a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he conducted clinical research in adrenal gland disorders and Cushing’s disease with subsequent publications.

    Dr. Manzano leads the Endocrinology rotation for the Internal Medicine residents at Mount Sinai Medical Center.

    Dr. Manzano is active in publishing inside endocrine literature. He has accomplished various publications in the field of thyroid cancer and parathyroid disease. Dr. Manzano is an active member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, Endocrine Society and the American Diabetes Association.
