Dr. Kirollos Gendi is a general orthopedic surgeon capable of treating a wide array of conditions that affect both the upper and lower extremities. His interests include utilizing advanced technology such as robotics and CT navigation for knee, shoulder, and hip replacement surgery. Additionally, he performs knee and shoulder arthroscopy to treat sports-related injuries with a minimally invasive approach. He also treats a wide variety of fractures in a similar fashion.

Dr. Gendi earned his undergraduate degree in Spanish at the University of California, Davis. He then obtained his medical degree at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, WI, where he also obtained a Master’s in Public Health with an emphasis on outcomes-based research.

    Dr. Gendi earned his undergraduate degree in Spanish at the University of California, Davis. He then went to residency in orthopedic surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. There, he trained at a busy Level 1 trauma center where he learned minimally invasive and up-to-date approaches to treat fractures and perform joint replacement to get patients back to their desired lifestyles. He also trained with the team doctors for the Detroit Pistons and the Detroit Lions, who taught him up-to-date surgical techniques to improve patient outcomes and speed up their recovery.

    Dr. Gendi is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Florida Medical Association. He has published in peer-reviewed journals with a focus on quality improvement in orthopedic surgery.

    He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
