Dr. Deepika Misra is a board-certified cardiologist at Mount Sinai Medical Center.

Dr. Misra earned her medical degree from the University of Delhi in Delhi, India and her Master of Science in Clinical Research from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY. She completed her residency training at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, NY, where she served as Chief Resident of Medicine. Following her residency, she completed her cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center.

Prior to joining Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Dr. Misra was an attending cardiologist at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center, where she also served as Fellowship Program Director of Cardiovascular Diseases and Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine.

Dr. Misra has contributed to research, peer-reviewed publications, and presentations on various medical topics, such as the detection of endomyocardial fibrosis, observation of tricuspid fibroelastoma via echocardiography, femoro-ilio-caval vein stent implantation, and the clinical effect of rebound hyperthermia after cooling post-cardiac arrest. Dr. Misra’s areas of clinical interest include the prevention, diagnosis, and management of cardiac diseases. Additionally, she is especially interested in women’s health and academic clinical practice.

Dr. Deepika Misra is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Cardiovascular Diseases. She is also a member of the American Society of Echocardiography, the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology, and the Board of Nuclear Medicine (Nuclear Cardiology).

Dr. Misra is fluent in English, Spanish, and Hindi.
