Dr. Medeona Gjergjindreaj is a board-certified non-invasive cardiologist at Mount Sinai Medical Center.

Dr. Gjergjindreaj earned her Master of Science from Barry University in Miami, FL, and her medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She completed her internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL, followed by her cardiovascular disease fellowship training at the Columbia University Division of Cardiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center.

Dr. Gjergjindreaj performs a variety of evidence-based assessments and treatment options relating to cardiovascular disease. She is committed to providing outstanding, patient-driven care. Her clinical interests include sports and preventative cardiology, structural heart disease, cardiac critical care, and women’s heart health.

Dr. Gjergjindreaj has authored and co-authored peer-reviewed publications on a variety of cardiology-related topics, including hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and coronary artery disease, percutaneous coronary intervention, coronary steal syndrome, and cardiac murmur detection.

Dr. Gjergjindreaj is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. She is also board-certified by the National Board of Echocardiography and the National Board of Nuclear Cardiology.

She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Albanian.
