Dr. Salom is a board certified radiologist with a sub-specialty in breast imaging which includes, mammography, breast ultrasound and MRI, as well as, breast interventional procedures. Dr. Salom earned her medical degree in 1997 from the University of Havana School of Medicine in Cuba. She went on to complete her transitional year internship at San Juan City Hospital and a diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Dr. Salom furthered her post graduate training as a fellow in breast imaging at Mount Sinai’s Comprehensive Breast Center in Miami Beach, Florida.
