    Dr. Julien A. Exposito is a board-certified cardiologist at Mount Sinai Medical Center.

    Dr. Exposito earned his medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, WV, with honors recognition.     Dr. Exposito has authored and co-authored peer-reviewed publications on a variety of different medical topics, including carcinoid heart disease, intravenous antihypertensives, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and pleomorphic cardiac sarcoma. During his residency, he was also actively involved in a quality improvement project involving the accurate timing of patient encounters in the medical record. He is particularly interested in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, vascular ultrasound, and preventative cardiology.

    Dr. Exposito is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Internal Medicine, and the National Board of Echocardiography. He is also board-certified in Nuclear Cardiology, and is a current member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Society of Echocardiography, the American Medical Association, the American Osteopathic Association, and the American College of Osteopathic Internists. Additionally, Dr. Exposito received his Registered Physician Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) certification.

    He is fluent in English and Spanish.
