He completed his family medicine residency training at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL, where he served as chief resident of the Department of Family Medicine. Following his residency training, he completed his primary care sports medicine fellowship training at Texas Tech University Health and Science Center’s Department of Family and Community Medicine in Lubbock, Texas.

    Dr. Hyman earned his medical degree from the Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his family medicine residency training at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL, where he served as chief resident of the Department of Family Medicine. Following his residency training, he completed his primary care sports medicine fellowship training at Texas Tech University Health and Science Center’s Department of Family and Community Medicine in Lubbock, Texas.

    Dr. Hyman previously served as a primary care sports medicine physician for Regenerative Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Columbia, Maryland. As a sports medicine physician, Dr. Hyman provided non-operative care for musculoskeletal conditions from the pediatric to geriatric patient population through patient education, rehabilitation recommendations, ultrasound-guided interventions, regenerative medicine procedures, and minor fracture splinting/casting. Dr. Hyman has authored several medical articles and publications on various topics, including Lisfranc injuries, the electronic basis for home exercise program dissemination, management of bleeding and open wounds in an athlete, and the benefit of hydrodistension of the shoulder in patients with adhesive capsulitis.

    Dr. Hyman is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) and received his Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine (CAQSM). Dr. Hyman is also a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
