Dr. Andrea Rodriguez is a gastroenterologist at Mount Sinai Medical Center with board certification in Internal Medicine. Dr. Rodriguez earned her medical degree from San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in Puerto Rico. She then completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of South Florida’s Morsani College of Medicine. She completed her gastroenterology and hepatology training at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.

Dr. Rodriguez has conducted extensive gastrointestinal research on pancreatic cancer and small bowel bleeding. She has a special interest in diseases of the pancreas. She has utilized her medical expertise to author numerous publications in scientific journals. Dr. Rodriguez is an active member of various professional organizations including the American College of Gastroenterology, American Pancreatic Association, and American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr. Rodriguez is fluent in both English and Spanish.
