Dr. Andrew P. Schell is an otolaryngologist at Mount Sinai Medical Center, where he treats patients of all ages for a variety of ENT conditions. His clinical interests include endoscopic sinus surgery, including balloon sinuplasty; allergic conditions; head and neck cancer; thyroid and parathyroid disease, benign masses of the head and neck; hearing loss and sleep apnea.

Dr. Schell earned his medical degree from the Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus and went on to complete both his general surgery internship and residency in otolaryngology/head and neck surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. While in Dallas, Dr. Schell received the Resident Research Award for investigating functional outcomes in patients with head and neck cancer. He also gave Grand Rounds presentations on wound healing and scars, as well as sublingual immunotherapy for the treatment of inhalant allergies.

Dr. Schell include is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He is also fluent in Spanish.
