    As a clinical cardiologist, Dr. Urina pairs the latest findings in cardiovascular research with her diverse clinical medical expertise to provide high-quality, personalized patient care. She is passionate about preventing cardiovascular disease and treating acute and chronic heart disease through evidence-based medicine. Dr. Urina’s academic endeavors have contributed to teaching, research, and presentations on cardio-metabolic syndrome, obesity, heart failure with preserved and reduced ejection fraction, hypertension, coronary artery disease, and cardiac imaging.

    Dr. Urina is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the National Board of Echocardiography, and the National Board of Nuclear Cardiology. She is also a member of the American College of Cardiology.
