Jonathan Nachman Mazurek, MD

Board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Jonathan Mazurek is a gastroenterologist and earned his medical degree in 2008 at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. He then completed his residency training at Beth Israel Medical Center, where was selected to serve as chief resident for the department of medicine. Following this, Dr. Mazurek completed his fellowship with the division of digestive diseases at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York City.

Dr. Mazurek treats a variety of gastrointestinal conditions, including Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), irritable bowel syndrome, as well as liver disease, and performs upper endoscopy and colonoscopy. He is particularly interested in the diagnosis and management of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). He was awarded a visiting fellowship grant by the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America to train with internationally renowned experts at a leading IBD center in New York City. Dr. Mazurek has also published articles in the field, and presented at national meetings.

Dr. Mazurek is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology.
