Dr. Jose Cruz is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a psychiatrist at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Cruz earned his medical degree in 2006 at Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE). He then completed his residency in psychiatry at Stony Brook University Hospital in Stony Brook, New York.

Prior to joining Mount Sinai, Dr. Cruz served as medical director for the University of Miami Hospital’s inpatient adult psychiatry units.
