Dr. Jose Torres is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, adult echocardiography and clinical cardiac electrophysiology.

Dr. Torres earned his medical degree at University of Cuenca, Ecuador. He then completed his internal medicine residency at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Torres also completed a cardiovascular disease fellowship at the Columbia University division of Cardiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida in addition to an advanced clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at The Ohio State University.

Dr. Torres’ area of expertise is in clinical cardiac electrophysiology with a focus on the ablation of complex cardiac arrhythmias including SVTs, atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia. He also performs several device interventions such as implantable loop recorders, pacemakers, defibrillators and cardiac resynchronizations devices.

Dr. Torres is fluent in both English and Spanish.
