He completed his internal medicine residency training at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, IL. During his residency, Dr. Sleiman earned the Best Resident Award for demonstrating the highest standards of medical excellence. Following his residency, he completed his cardiology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Weston, FL, where he served as Chief Fellow and earned the Cardiology Fellow of the Year Award. Dr. Sleiman then completed his electrophysiology fellowship at The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH, where he also served as Chief Fellow.
