Dr. Joseph Titano is an interventional radiologist at Mount Sinai Medical Center.

Dr. Titano received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and earned his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. He completed his internship in general surgery and his residency in interventional radiology and diagnostic radiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai receiving the physician of the year award from among over 1,000 residents and fellows and serving as the chief resident of his graduating class.

Dr. Titano was a 2019 RSNA Roentgen Research Award winner for advanced radiologic research. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the Radiological Society of North America, and the Society of Interventional Radiology.

Dr. Titano has authored and contributed to publications and presentations on topics including interventional oncology with a focus on cancers within the liver, endovascular access exploring the utilization of the radial artery for visceral and peripheral interventions, and applying machine learning and computer vision training to the field of radiology. His work has been presented in Europe, Canada, and throughout the United States, and he has published his findings in journals including the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology, Radiology, and Nature Medicine.
