Dr. Karen Caraballo-Torres is an internal medicine physician at Mount Sinai Medical Center.

Dr. Caraballo-Torres earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology and medical degree from the University of Miami in Miami, FL. While pursuing her medical education, Dr. Caraballo-Torres earned the Academic University Scholarship and was a consistent Dean’s List and President’s Honor Roll recipient. She completed her internal medicine residency training at the University of Miami at Holy Cross Hospital, where she served as a member of the Internal Medicine Residency Wellness Committee.

Dr. Caraballo-Torres is dedicated to providing comprehensive, personalized patient care and is committed to improving overall health and well-being. She has also conducted extensive research on suppurative sialadenitis following COVID-19 diagnoses as part of the 2023 Critical Care Congress event. .

Dr. Caraballo-Torres is fluent in English and Spanish.
