    Dr. Blachar earned his medical degree at Stony Brook University in New York. He completed his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami School of Medicine. Dr. Blachar’s professional interests with general obstetrics and gynecology include well woman visits from teen to menopause, birth control, cervical cancer screening, menopause management, initiation of infertility care. He also specializes in laparoscopic, vaginal, as well as open surgical techniques for hysterectomy and other benign gynecologic conditions.

    Dr. Blachar is a member of the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He has been on staff at Mount Sinai Medical Center his entire career; since 1988. Dr. Blachar is fluent in both English and Spanish.
