Dr. Marion Gonzalez is a board-certified internal medicine physician at Mount Sinai Medical Center.

Dr. Gonzalez earned her medical degree from Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) in the Dominican Republic, where she graduated with magna cum laude honors and received the PIES Program Scholarship based on academic merit. She completed her internal medicine residency training at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, IL. During her training, she earned the Douglas P. Rhone, MD Legacy Award and served as a dual member of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, and the Alliance of Independent Academic Medical Centers Committee.

Dr. Gonzalez previously served as an attending physician and physician advisor at Leon Medical Centers in Miami, FL. As a physician advisor, she worked to bridge communication and relationships between providers at the clinics and administrative offices, while guiding the clinical customer service department. Dr. Gonzalez has conducted medical research studies assessing the risk factors associated with diabetes and hypertension. She has also investigated the nutritional status of adult patients with end-stage renal disease. Dr. Gonzalez’s overall goal as a physician is to provide high-quality, evidence-based medical care.

Dr. Gonzalez is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
