Dr. Oleg Gligich is a board-certified oncologist at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Gligich graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from Hunter College in Manhattan with a focus on cancer biology and microenvironment. He earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine with honors and went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at Jacobi Medical Center in New York City. He completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the renowned Albert Einstein College of Medicine - Montefiore Medical Center in New York City.
Prior to joining Mount Sinai, Dr. Gligich cared for patients at a multidisciplinary cancer treatment center in Tampa where he was at the forefront of clinical trial initiatives while spearheading areas of patient safety improvement, cost-saving initiatives, and resident academics.
While completing his fellowship, Dr. Gligich, working with the leading experts in breast cancer research including Dr. Joseph Sparano. He has authored multiple publications, abstracts, and posters in areas of breast and hematologic oncology. Throughout his education, he participated in a wide variety of clinical activities and volunteering experience with the American Cancer Society, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Menorah Home & Hospital in New York City. Dr. Gligich is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.
