Dr. Ortal Babaev is an internal medicine physician at Mount Sinai Medical Center.

Dr. Babaev earned her medical degree from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in Middletown, NY, and served as President of the OB/GYN Club. She completed her internal medicine residency training at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA, where she worked with fellow physicians, specialists, and health care providers to treat patients with chronic, acute, and complex conditions, while providing high-quality care.

During her residency, Dr. Babaev was actively involved in several quality improvement projects, including the revision and implementation of safer and more precise protocols for managing diabetic ketoacidosis and heparin drips in the hospital to minimize adverse outcomes.

Regarding her clinical interests, she is particularly passionate about preventative medicine, endocrinology, and rheumatology, which align with her goals of promoting overall health and effectively managing chronic conditions.

Dr. Babaev’s expertise focuses on delivering exceptional care, developing effective treatment plans, and building a strong rapport with patients.
