Dr. Segall earned his medical degree at McGill University School of Medicine in Montreal, Canada. He completed his internship and residency in straight medicine at Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, Canada. Dr. Segall went on to complete his cardiology fellowship at the University of Alabama, School of Medicine.

Dr. Segall is a member of the American Heart Association, Florida Medical Association, American College of Physicians, and the American College of Cardiology. He has published research in the areas of cardiovascular disease and catheter treatments.
