Dr. Pranav Venkataraman is a cardiologist at Mount Sinai Medical Center.

Dr. Venkataraman earned his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH, where he was awarded the Resident Excellence in Teaching Award.

Following his residency, he completed his cardiovascular disease fellowship at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine in Roanoke, VA. During his fellowship, Dr. Venkataraman received the Scholarship Award for top academic performance and research output, and the Carilion Collaboration Badge Award for excellence in patient care.

Dr. Venkataraman has contributed to research, peer-reviewed publications, and presentations on cardiovascular disease topics that include the echocardiographic assessment of right ventricular size and systolic function, as well as multiple case reports in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, and cardiac imaging. He has also researched and published in other areas of medicine, such as biomedical engineering, medical device design, and infectious disease.

Dr. Venkataraman is fluent in English and Tamil.
