Dr. Raul Weiss is the Director of the William E. & Molly Ford Cardiac Electrophysiology Center at Mount Sinai Medical Center on Miami Beach.

Dr. Weiss earned his medical degree at Universidad Nacional de Tucumán in Argentina. He completed an internal medicine residency at University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Cardiovascular Medicine and Cardiac Electrophysiology at University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor. He also has accumulated more than 20 years’ experience in academic, high volume, electrophysiology programs, giving him vast expertise with the entire range of electrophysiology.  His expertise was recognized at Ohio State University where he served as Program Director of Electrophysiology and trained dozens of cardiologists in the intricacies of clinical cardiac electrophysiology.  His expertise has also been recognized by serving as the national Principal Investigator for a number of clinical trials in device therapy for patients with heart rhythm problems. Additionally, Dr. Weiss speaks regularly at national and international conferences and congresses.

Dr. Weiss has authored more than 200 abstracts, book chapters, and articles in leading cardiology and electrophysiology journals. He is considered one of the thought leaders in his field.

He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Hebrew.
