Ricardo Garcia Alemany, M.D., is an attending rheumatologist in the Division of Arthritis and Rheumatology at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Board certified in rheumatology and internal medicine, Dr. Garcia Alemany received his medical degree from Escuela Autonoma de Ciencias Medicas de Centro America (UCIMED) in Costa Rica. He completed an internship in general surgery at the University of Miami – Jackson Memorial Hospital and a residency in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He also completed a two-year fellowship in rheumatology at State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate Medical University, where he conducted research and investigated several clinical trials. Dr. Garcia Alemany is a member of the American College of Rheumatology, Florida Society of Rheumatology and American College of Physicians. He is also fluent in Spanish.
